Priest Craft Woodworking comes from the shop of Erik Willits, a priest and woodworker. This is where you can look at previous projects, order original PCW designs, or reach out about a custom order.

Saint Benedict taught his monks the value of both prayer and work, giving his monastic order the motto "Ora et Labora," meaning "Pray and Work.” I haven’t always been good at the sort of balanced way of life. Reading, thinking, writing, preaching, and praying; my life as pastor and priest is largely a life of mind and Spirit. When I started woodworking I found the other half of this benedictine equation, work. The wood shop has become a refuge, a place to put my hands to work and craft thoughtful design that is useful in everyday life. I do pray, I work, and often I pray while I’m working. I hope some of the things I create might show it.
